True Spanish paella is difficult to find in New York City. At Café Espanol, your biggest problem will be which paella you are in the mood for. Cooking done with saffron, paprika and other Spanish spices ensures that there are plenty of flavors in all of the dishes at Café Espanol. Fresh seafood and perfectly cooked steaks are a couple of the reasons that Café Espanol has been serving New York diners since 1976. They have recently added a tapas menu that gives many creations in smaller portions, but with the same big taste of the entrée size. If you are on the run but are craving the flavors of old Spain then try something from the tapas menu and tell your friends!

The food looks absolutely amazing. I called to find out what the green sauce was with shrimp and the description sounded appetizing. While on the phone I decided to order however I was told that there weren't any delivery guys and the bartender has to order. The bartender told the gentleman on the phone that my address was too far. (Mind you, my zip was in the site and the place is 0.5 miles away). It's a shame because other people from my office wanted to order. I told him this and was told that if I had a large order, he can see what he can do. Don't get me wrong, he sounded pleasant over the phone but this isn't a way a business should run (Posting on a delivery site when you can't deliver!). I hope they get their act together so that I can order in the future. My advice: CALL BEFORE ORDERING!!!!
